A service-oriented and achievement-driven business leader, Douglas Leigh Martin, IV ("Leigh") is a Licensed Real Estate Broker with more than 10 years of experience and multi-million dollar success. Throughout his career, Leigh has repeatedly demonstrated his expertise in earning stakeholder trust, building prosperous business relationships, understanding specifically what stakeholders are looking for, and then working tirelessly and enthusiastically, not to meet, but to exceed expectations.
Leigh quickly came up to speed as a top producer. He has achieved Circle of Excellence status for five consecutive years cementing his position as the youngest broker in company history to be inducted into the Hall of Fame; closed more than $200 million in real estate transactions between 2009-2019; and has been recognized by Texas Monthly as a "5-Star Real Estate Agent" from 2012-2018.
Leigh's clients and colleagues have described him as extremely driven, determined, courteous, patient, personable, wise, well-meaning, and trustful. He has certainly earned such accolades. Leigh has dutifully served clients through all aspects of buying and selling homes, farms, and ranches. Consummately attentive to stakeholder needs, Leigh takes pride in his ability to find just the right properties and solutions his clients are seeking. Highly knowledgeable and skilled, he excels in advising clients on real estate strategy, managing high-stakes contract negotiations, and generally doing all that is possible to maximize market exposure and return, for his clients.
Prior to real estate, Leigh had a successful sales career as an area sales manager for an industry-leading firm. In this role, he led a nine person sales team in achieving steady sales growth and customer satisfaction. After a multi-company acquisition, he was a chief contributor in helping successfully transition a previously untouched market.
When asked what prides him most, Leigh's answer is certain: his ongoing volunteer work and dedication to helping individuals in need and to assisting young professionals in reaching academic and professional goals. He currently sits on the executive committee for the Texas Business Hall of Fame, and the board of trustees for the Eta Iota chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He has been an active and successful fundraiser for the Memorial Hermann Heroes in Health among other engagements.
Born and raised on a small ranch in East Texas, Leigh is a proud Texan whose family roots predate statehood. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University.
